Generally, among the rooms, basement is easier to meet these requirements.
Misunderstanding 2: Common air conditioner can control the air in cellar well
Wine cellar need to maintain a steady temperature about 12-15℃, with about 70% humidity. But the temperature range of the common air conditioner is about 18-30℃. What’s more, when the air conditioner works, it also brings away the moisture in air and make the air dry. It is not suitable for the wine aging. When custom wine cellar, you should fix the special cellar air conditioner instead of the common one.
Misunderstanding 3: Wine cellar is a good place for enjoying wine. Not exactly, since the perfect temperature for wine aging is quite cool for people. If you have a big area for the custom wine cellar, we suggest put the wine tasting area separated from the storage area. If the cellar is not big, then plan the tasting area outside. Surely you can taste your wine inside the cellar, but the low temperature and high moisture will make you uncomfortable.

But for the display cellars, which really need more lighting, we suggest use the LED lights instead of the incandescent lamps.

The insulation materials should be fixed all around the room, or even you’d fixed the special cellar air conditioner, it works in vain.
